Makerfabs MaTouch ESP32-S3 Parallel TFT with Touch 4.0" specifications
The Makerfabs ESP32-S3 Parallel TFT with Touch 4.0-inch (SKU E32S3RGB40) has a square 480×480 IPS display — a format that suits wall switches, smart home panels and dashboards with a grid of tiles. The ST7701S panel is initialised over 3-wire SPI and then fed over RGB565, and Makerfabs quotes refresh rates above 50 FPS.
A 5-point GT911 capacitive touch panel sits on top. The ESP32-S3-WROOM-1-N16R8 module gives 16 MB of flash and 8 MB of PSRAM, and the board adds a MAX98357A audio amplifier with a speaker included in the box, a microSD slot with a 16 GB card, and a LiPo battery socket with charger.
Two USB-C ports (CP2104 USB-to-UART and native USB), two Mabee connectors for I2C and GPIO, and a −40 to +85 °C rating complete it.

Good to know before you start
- The optional I2S speaker uses GPIO 19/20/46 — using native USB and the speaker together is not possible.
- LCD Ultra Pro dims this board's screen with a software layer.
- The square 480×480 format works best with tile or grid layouts.
- Only 0° orientation is offered for this board.
What it is good for
- •Smart home wall panels
- •Square dashboards with tiles
- •Audio feedback devices
- •Photo frames and weather stations
