Makerfabs MaTouch Lite ESP32-S3 SPI Resistive Touch 3.95" ST7796 specifications
The MaTouch Lite ESP32-S3 3.95-inch gives you a large 480×320 screen at a low price. The display is driven by an ST7796 over SPI, and touch comes from a resistive panel with an NS2009 controller — the same touch solution as the smaller 2.4-inch Lite.
An ESP32-S3 with 16 MB of flash and 8 MB of PSRAM runs it, with a CH340K USB-to-UART and a native USB port. With the display on SPI, GPIO 2–12 stay free for your own hardware.
Makerfabs also sells a capacitive-touch 3.95-inch board with an ultra-wideband radio, the MaTouch MaUWB; the Lite is the simpler, cheaper choice when you only need a big screen and wired sensors. In LCD Ultra Pro the board comes with a display and touch driver matched to Makerfabs' example code.

Good to know before you start
- Resistive touch: firm presses, works with gloves; avoid tiny buttons.
- Free GPIOs: 2–12, plus BOOT and UART0.
- The capacitive-touch 3.95-inch alternative is the MaTouch MaUWB, a different board.
- Portrait (320×480) and landscape (480×320) both work in LCD Ultra Pro.
What it is good for
- •Large, low-cost control panels
- •Machine and workshop HMIs
- •Sensor dashboards with many wired inputs
- •Menu-driven settings screens

Frequently asked questions
What resolution is the MaTouch Lite 3.95-inch?
480×320 pixels with an ST7796 controller over SPI.
Is the touch capacitive?
No, it is resistive with an NS2009 controller.
How does it differ from the MaTouch MaUWB 3.95-inch?
The MaUWB has capacitive touch and an ultra-wideband radio; the Lite has resistive touch and no UWB.
